Aegis FSI is a recruiter specialised in search and selection of professionals and managers within A/F/C function. On behalf of a primary packaging company, we are looking for a:
Business Controller
The candidate will contribute to the implementation of solid reporting, planning and control processes in order to guarantee full control over company’s profitability and participate in consistent data gathering at cluster level.
Main activities and responsibilities
- Planning process preparation (Long Range Plan, Budgeting, Forecasting) and sharing the necessary information among other relevant functions, coordinating the results with the Regional Finance Team;
- Enforce procedures, implement and maintain cost tracking tools;
- Prepare monthly reporting, ensuring the consistency of available data;
- Prepare on-demand reporting upon request;
- Periodical business and cross-functional controlling activities, such as:
- Business controlling / Customer profitability / Product profitability
- Logistics cost controlling
- Commercial cost controlling
- Periodical actual vs Budget/Forecast discrepancy analysis
- Key-Performance-Indicators set up and tracking
- Close cooperation with Regional Controlling Team, with the aim of harmonizing, optimizing and aligning reports, as well as providing mutual back up.
Experience and profile
- 3-5 years accounting and financial reporting experience, management control or external audit in international environment and corporate companies;
- Finance and controlling background.
Skills
- Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills;
- Warehouse management / logistics controlling background;
- Capability to develop dedicated control and analysis tools;
- Knowledge of accountability principals;
- Computer skills (SAP, Navision, Excel, Access);
- Team-spirit;
- Effective communication;
- Fluent English;
- Spanish would be appreciated.
